I work a regular shift, but am also on call so i have to carry around a laptop and all the tech stuff i need for work – this bag does it great! sometimes, the on call work is a lot of sitting and waiting, so i also stuff my steam deck in the bottom storage in it’s original case – it fits PERFECTLY.

tons and tons of pockets both with and without zippers in the front two storage compartments and you can easily fit a laptop + docking station + cooling pad + power supply in the back pocket.

    1. Needed a bag that would be good for carrying a variety of items= Y
    2. Durability isn’t good as the zipper has now separated. Good thing there are dual zippers as one is no longer usable.= N
Sturdiness see #2 also side flaps keep getting caught in the zipper when zipping up or down causing you to constantly tug at the zipper which def causes you to break it.

I’m a teacher who has to pack work, papers, folders, tablets, and my laptop/cords. This is a lightweight backpack. I really like the pull out storage at the bottom of the backpack. That fit my laptop power cord, external hard drive, presentation clicker and my HDMI cord. There’s a place for everything here. Worth the purchase and I’ve only had it for 3 days.

I bought this backpack to replace my previous one after getting a Steam Deck. The bottom pocket fits the Deck perfectly after removing the accessory case, but unfortunately the rest of the backpack is much lower quality than what I’d expect for the price. The inside material feels plastic-y and unpleasant to touch, and the build quality just isn’t near other bags in this price range that I’ve used. The laptop sleeve is also especially bad with a MacBook, since there is no cushioning on the bottom or back of the sleeve so my laptop kept digging into my back and ended up leaving a bruise after a day of carrying it around. It also does nothing to protect the laptop when set down on a hard surface. In the end, I ended up returning this bag and getting the LTT backpack instead.

Good for gear. The extra tool enclosure is good. Only complaint is the laptop storage area doesn’t have and bottom or top padding, so is something hit it or is dropped on the ground too hard it can damage/crack devices in there, like a large ipad pro not inside it’s own padded sleeve.

Wanted to use it for steamdeck. They backpack looks nice, but I didn’t get the impression it is good value for the money. The bottom is solid, but the top feels really cheap. Despite the fabric being high quality there’s is no structural support. I ended up unsettled because the bottom is rock solid while the top of the backpack feels flimsy. It is a good backpack and for people who don’t mind this will serve you well. It’s just not for me.

I bought this because I loved the concept of the slide out box to put all the chargers etc into as I have a fair few accessories and at the moment they are all in a front pocket and tangled up. The first thing I did when I opened the parcel was to unzip the side opening and take out the box.

The box itself is great but it seems to be exactly the same size as the opening, meaning it’s not too bad to get out but very hard to get back in, why on earth have the manufacturers done this, a 5mm tolerance all round would have not had any impact on practicality but would make a huge difference to usability.

The small top zip pocket is just a flap so you can’t get anything of substance in there. In my old Samsonite bag I carried my wallet, a ear buds, glasses, and a few things I needed fast access to, now it’s just my glasses. The larger front zip pocket is also a flap but with more capacity. It has a zipped section and elastic straps for pens etc.

The centre compartment, zipped from the top, is large with one unzipped pouch and 2 zipped sub pockets. All good

The rear compartment holds my 14″ laptop, iPad Pro 12.9” and A4 notebook perfectly, with space to spare, and has a padded zipped sub pocket.

Two very good things; 1) zips open one handed as the bag is a firm shape. My old bag often needed 2 hands to undo a zip, a pain if you were in a situation where the other hand was carrying the bag. 2) the bag stands up when you put it down, my old one fell forward which was very annoying.

If the accessories box came out and went in easily this would be a 5 start review, and perhaps over time it might ease but I can’t see how.

It seems very comfortable and water resistant so I’ll see how I get on.

As a long time tech professional I always hated having to carry usb drives and cables. I tried many different ways. Ziplock bags, cigar boxes. small tupperware, and none of it worked for me. This pack with the removal hard case in the bottom is absolutely fantastic. It even fits my 17″ Legion laptop without straining. 10/10 Will buy again just to have a backup.
