While this isn’t as intuitive to use as hands alone, it foams and softens skin quite well for shaving.
I needed to mess around tuning the intensity with the app for a bit until I settled on ~10.
App didn’t really give much guidance, so it was just trial and error. Out-of-box setting of 1 was pathetically weak cleansing.
Works great, though you want to use a cleanser that has no particulate, and is consistent throughout. Stuff will get stuck, or abrade the silicone, otherwise. Careful with with cleansers that leave residue as well.

The app doesnt work probably, got 1 star on app review. The foreo doesn’t work as well. After i click 20 seconds it start running. Very very disappointed. Waste of time and not good as it should be. The app doesn’t work well, couldnt register the product through the app. Have to go to website to register it. Very low quality.

I have upgraded to this model and so far I am satisfied with my purchase.
The device can be used app-free but you need to download the app onto your phone first to set it up in Settings.
This device is bigger than my previous luna men so it is really convenient.
The battery life is extended on this device, so I don’t have to frequently charge it

My cousin noticed the Prime Day sale and I was able to snag this for 109 – about half price. She emphatically recommends it (even at full price). The app must have seen a few updates as it seems intuitive enough to me. The ladies versions were all claimed at the lower price, so I snagged the guys version (seems like the combination skin texture). Works great with my cream to oil cleanser and I look forward to updating after more use!

Me decepcionó ! Es idéntica a la de color azul ( combination skin ) …y la verdad… a mi esposo que tiene la barba con pelo grueso no funciona muy bien para peinarla y limpiar la piel en esa parte . En conclusión para barba no funciona , prefiere otros cepillos más económicos …

Don’t waste your time & money. The reviews all say this thing is amazing, but it was total trash. Got it to replace my Clairsonic, which was amazing. I could not get it to connect via bluetooth, the app said it was previously registered and could not register it again…and it arrived with water stains when I opened the box! Obviously someone else returned it.
I was hoping I could simply bypass the app/email registration, password and all the other BS, but you cannot. You MUST jump through ALL the hoops, or you are stuck with one weak setting that cannot be altered. I could have bough some cheap face cleaner at CVS for $20 that does that !!! Bottom line, you are paying $170 for some P.O.S. that has to be registered, email confirmed, password set-up (6+ letter minimum) and recharged by USB ONLY !!! LMFAO…..All this to wash my face ??? GTFO !
