The oil doesn’t have a strong toasted flavor… it’s not much different than a regular sesame oil.

Every once in awhile I like to switch things up and use a walnut oil vinaigrette in a salad. This is the only brand I buy for that, and I’m happy that though founded by a French man, he chose to put his company only about 30 miles from my house in California.
I’ve had a few of their different oils and all have been quite good.
Be aware of the following:
“Walnut oil, in particular, is very susceptible to oxidation. Safflower and sunflower oils can also go rancid easily. For these and other delicate oils, refrigerating after opening is recommended. Kept cold, these oils will remain viable for six months or more.”

The Walnut Oil is my favorite! I use it for salad dressing ((I can’t tolerate acetic acid/vinegar so I make my own using oil, lemon juice, some white wine, a few herbs, and some guar gum to hold it all together)). It also give a very nice flavor to pan-cooked catfish, salmon, and other fish; to stir fry, and so on. It’s my second go-two behind Robust Extra-Virgin Olive Oil ((Pompeiian, also via Amazon)).
But yeah, the *packing* is awful. I haven’t yet had a can leak, but they *always* arrive badly dented; the loose bubble-wrap doesn’t do much of anything at all. It’s not even closed tightly enough to contain a leak, if one occurred. It always seems to be in an overly-large box with one or two small items, with all of them rattling around chaotically. So that part is pretty annoying.
But the Walnut Oil itself is really good, nice flavor and all! 🙂

This walnut oil is the basis for a tasty salad dressing as a change from olive oil. It’s possible to fry with it but we haven’t tried that kind of recipe yet. Good quality.

I will keep buying this oil. Much better deal than what I can find in grocery stores and has an excellent taste. One improvement I would suggest is changing the bottle design so it is easier to pour without oil dribbling. The spout is not designed well but the taste is very good.

I have yet to try the product. Based on how the item packaged with care, I can only think the oil will be perfect.

Years ago a naturopath told me about roasted walnut oil in place of butter (or margarine) on my veggies at dinner, and that’s when I began buying this product. Once you get in the habit of using it you won’t want to stop as it brings the natural taste of the veggies to life. Now and then I also treat myself to salad dressing made with this oil and it is light and super yummy. The walnut taste is delicate, and present without being overpowering. I highly recommend this product – it’s well worth the price.

We’ve been trying to make better food choices. One of these choices was to switch out the canola and vegetable oils and only use coconut, olive, and avocado oils. Of the three, avocado oil does best in high heat. I did some research and found that this is the best (relatively affordable) avocado oil. The fact that it’s in a darkened container is important for protecting the oil. The flavor is neutral which is what you want in a cooking oil. We tried several avocado oil options but this one is the clear winner.

Not sure if it’s the way they pack it, but this stuff smells sooo fresh. Like they just picked the olives, yesterday. Flavor is great too. Definitely in my top 3 of best tasting olive oils ever.

I’ve been using this Avocado oil for years and it has never disappointed me. First off, I loved the packaging of this oil. It is unique, beautiful to look at and is slender enough to be held in one hand and used. The flavour is rich without being overpowering and it can be used to cook pretty much anything, including making salads. I bought this primarily to use for my hair as avocado oil is recommended for low porosity hair and so far, I like the feel of it on my hair. My hair does not feel weighed down by using this oil and it leaves me feeling like I’m adding good nutrients to my hair. If you’re thinking about buying this one, don’t hesitate!
